One of our biggest conveniences for you is our website, JEMKC.org. Plus, find Executive Board contact information, teaching materials, event information, a list of member awards and all of your contest and scholarship details in one easy place.
We have a variety of activities for our professional community planned, including the continuation of Adviser Nights at schools around the metro to allow opportunities for collaboration and learning together. We also host a Fall get-together and our traditional brunch at Brio in January.
The JEMKC contest offers your staffs the opportunity to enter work in nearly 50 newspaper, website, yearbook, photography and broadcasting categories. In addition, more than $2,000 in scholarships are awarded.
We also have a special opportunity for NEW MEMBERS: one year of free membership! Come see all we have to offer and our hope is that after attending educational meet-ups and social gatherings and entering your students in our contests, you’ll be excited to be a member from here on out.
